Say Hello To The New Obsession That’s Taking Oregon By Storm, ‘Goat Yoga’ With A Wait List Over 600

In 2016, the perfect Oregon pastime was born – goat yoga. Goat yoga is basically just as it sounds…yoga but  with goats. Lainey Morse, owner of No Regrets Farm in Albany, Oregon, has blended farm animals with yoga to create the perfect balance of fun and exercise.

The class takes place at her farm. “Animals are known to have so many health benefits for humans as well,” Lainey stated, “so the mix of goats and yoga seemed to fit.”

Goat yoga has gotten increasingly popular in Oregon, especially after a video about the class was created by “60 Second Docs.”

“People are desperate for something that is pure and peaceful,” says Morse in that video.”It’s really hard to be in pain and sad when there’s baby goats jumping around you,” she continued. “It’s just you’re letting go.”

You might even get a chance for some ‘cat yoga’ all the same time too!

In the video below, Morse said the class has a waiting list of 600 people. The video was uploaded January 5, 2017. Now, according to Lainey, that list is up to over 900.
